Has Davos had its day?

There is something almost ritualistic and repetitive about the annual Swiss boondoggle that is the Davos World Economic Forum. It is likely that more of us will have become aware that the event happens this week through Oxfam’s well-timed PR guerrilla raid, than through anything put out by the Forum’s PR machine.
